Project GROWS, the Blue Ridge Children’s Museum and the Staunton City School Nutrition Program are teaming up again to bring you another exciting week of Little GROWers Camp! Join us on our 10 magical acres of pasture, production beds, stream, and shade trees as we explore all the farm has to offer. Campers will investigate the amazing living creatures of the farm, scour the pasture for butterflies, birds, and grasshoppers, and meet animal friends from nearby farms like chickens, lambs, rabbits, and worms! Be prepared to get dirty as we help out with fun farm tasks like digging up beets, carrots, and potatoes. We’ll also do taste tests of the day’s veggies and make seedballs with wildflower seeds to take home and spread in our neighborhoods. Lunch and snack will be provided free of charge to all campers by Staunton City School Nutrition Program.
